COLOMBIA, Medellín, 1 peso, 1869. Restrepo-318.1; KM-154.2. 24.63 grams. Clear large date over small date and distinctive "native" effigy of Liberty, scarce first year of type (new mint) with a paltry mintage of 3,598 coins, lustrous AU with weak condor's breast as is typical, struck on a crude planchet with a number of flaws along the rims.
