Scarce type from the 1715 Fleet with partial two-digit date 8(?) visible between weak pillars, nearly complete cross, moderately corroded, gray-toned surfaces. With original Cobb Coin Company (Fisher) tag and certificate 1715-1411, pedigreed to the J.M. Morse III Collection. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, sunk off the east coast of Florida
