Small copper trade ingot, 257 grams, ex-Colebrooke (1778). 6¾" x ½" x ½". Neatly formed copper bar without any markings (XRF: 99.2% copper), lightly lacquered to preserve its red coloration, rare provenance from which we've only offered a few artifacts. From the Colebrooke (1778), pedigreed to the Steve Valentine Collection, with original certificate from the salvor/conservator.
