(PANAMA) VENEZUELA, bronze 4 reales token, no date, Rivero S. Hermanos, rare, PCGS UNC details / scratch, finest and only example in PCGS census. PT-310.4. Obverse with RIVERO • S • HERMANOS legend around a small central rosette; reverse with large numeral 4 in center; plain edge. Choice original luster with splashes of color (like the sunset on a cloudy day), likely a specimen strike or sample due to its exceptional state of preservation, the PCGS-designated "scratch" consisting of two parallel lines diagonally across the 4 possibly just a manufacturing flaw. While this series was cataloged under Panama by Plowman, Venezuelan experts have recently connected these pieces to the Rivero farm in Miranda instead.
