PANAMA, Panama City, cob 2 reales, Philip II, assayer oB to right, mintmark AP above denomination II to left, NGC VF details / environmental damage. Proctor-2R.1B; S-AP4; Cal-362; KM-3.3. Broad flan with full interior elements including well-detailed shield and cross-castles-lions, the latter off center, the mintmark-denomination AP-II and assayer oB flanking the shield a little indistinct but 100% certain as a die match with Proctor 2R.1B, deeply toned all over, with some surface corrosion, one of very few certified Panama cobs.
