CHILE, Santiago, gold bust 4 escudos, Charles IV, 1806 FJ/JF, extremely rare, PCGS VF30, finest and only example in PCGS census. Cal-1577; KM-62; Fr-26. Bold details due to outlining toning, the bust slightly weak, with honest even wear all over, light yellow color, from a reported mintage of just 204 pieces, of which this is the only one straight-graded by either PCGS or NGC regardless of the over-assayer (which PCGS did not recognize anyway), the only other one we know of being tooled around a large lamination on reverse.
