BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 2 reales, 1617 M, obverse legend error, unique. S-P19; KM-8; Cal-629. 6.74 grams. Very broad, thin flan with crude edge at top (as made), bold assayer to left of doubled shield, clear 17 of date above full cross, but particularly interesting for the fact that the shield side shows ET INDIARVM in lieu of the king's name (first time we have seen this error), low-contrast VF with traces of luster, spots of verdigris.
