MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer not visible (P), ex-Concepción (1641), mounted cross-side out in silver pendant with shackle bail. 41.03 grams total. Bold, nearly complete cross, partial shield with oMP a bit obscured by mild surface pitting, mounted in a textured silver bezel. From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic.
