SPAIN, Seville, cob 2 reales, Philip II, assayer not visible (Gothic D on reverse). Cal-400. 6.52 grams. Broad flan with bold mintmark, sharply detailed full shield and cross, flat areas in peripheries, minimal corrosion, nicely toned. Pedigreed to the Steve Valentine Collection, with original certificate from the salvor/conservator. Recovered from: Santiago, sunk in 1585 off Bassas da India in the Indian Ocean
