Encrusted earthenware "olive" jar, ex-Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724). 6.2 lbs (2819 grams) total. Roughly 12" tall; 8" in diameter at shoulders. Beehive olive jar with rounded bottom, intact except for one small hole at shoulder, large rolled lip, almost completely encased in encrustation with a few large chunks of coral and worm rings around half of the shoulder. Pick up recommended; special shipping costs apply. From Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic signed by Bowden.
