MEXICO, Mexico City, gold cob 1 escudo, (1714) J, ex-1715 Fleet, ex-Fisher, mounted shield-side out in 18K gold ring (size 10½). Sharp UNC coin with full shield and clear assayer plus king's ordinal visible in the legend, the other side hidden inside the gold ring with textured pattern on the sides, accompanied by a desirable original (early) hand-signed certificate from Mel Fisher. From the 1715 Fleet, with small certificate M1ET189 dated June 1, 1971, hand-signed by Mel Fisher.
