Head of Athena right, hair flowing loosely below, wearing pendant earring, necklace, and triple-crested Corinthian helmet pushed back on head, long intersecting crest ends, bowl decorated with coiled serpent right / Nike standing facing, head left, wreath in outstretched right hand, stylis cradled in left arm; AΘ monogram above torch in left field; ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟY right. Exceptional strike, beautifully centered obverse, slightly off-center reverse, exceptional grade, with important pedigree. Pedigreed to the Lexington Collection of Jonathan K.
