ECUADOR, Guayaquil, Banco del Ecuador, 10 sucres, 6-7-1912, serial A57319, rare, PMG Choice F 15. Pick-S159a. Bold vignette of Knowledge graces the face of this tough note from Ecuador, one of just two listed in the PMG census (the other being a VF 20 example) and not priced in any level in the Pick catalog. The signatures and stamped date are clear and the design is well centered, a single pinhole at center left noted along with some circulation stains.
