UNITED STATES, Washington, D.C., $10 Legal Tender, series of 1880, serial A35425099, Lyons-Roberts, PMG F 12. Fr-113. Well-circulated example of this popular "Jackass" note, so-called for the eagle vignette at bottom center of the front resembling a donkey's head when viewed upside down. A few pinholes noted along with small stain at center, design still quite bold and with nice margins.
