Obverse with sunface and rays inside legend LIMA LIBRE JURO SU INDEPENDENCIA EN 28 DE JULIO DE 1821•; reverse with BAJO LA / PROTECCION / DEL EGERCITO / LIBERTADOR / DEL PERU / MANDADO / POR SAN / MARTIN inside wreath; diagonally grooved edge. Deeply rainbow toned over luster, choice but slightly off-center strike, near top grade.
