BOLIVIA, Potosí, gold bust 4 escudos, Charles IV, 1798 PP, very rare, PCGS XF40, finest known in PCGS census. Janson-73.10; Cal-1529; KM-80; Fr-15. Full rims, with nice red toning in obverse legend and all over the reverse, one of very few known and especially rare as problem-free, in fact the single finest graded numerically since the only one at NGC is AU details, also low mintage of just 1156 coins. Pedigreed to the Cayón auction of September 2022 (lot 5485).
