BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1736 E, NGC AU 55, finest known in NGC census. S-P46; KM-31a; Cal-1571. Broad but chunky flan with bold full pillars-and-waves and cross-lions-castles, double-struck all over but with two bold dates and all three mintmarks, technically finest known for straight grades, as there are also two in UNC Details. Note: Edge of slab is slightly chipped.
