PERU, Lima, cob 8 reales, 1728 N, ex-Ugaz, ex-Rutherford. S-L21; KM-34a; Cal-1301. 24.96 grams. Broad flan, well-centered cross and pillars but peripheries flat and lightly corroded all over (probably from the Princess Louisa of 1743), a couple edge-splits, no toning. Pedigreed to the Jorge Ugaz Collection and the S.P. Rutherford Collection (Stack's Bowers auction of October 2024, lot 73684), also to Sedwick Auction 8 (lot 1212).
