COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold cob 2 escudos, 1692, assayer A/G below denomination II to right, mintmark NR to left, very rare, NGC MS 62 (1715 Fleet Shipwreck Label). ARCE-2; Restrepo-M66.17; S-B24; KM-14.1; Fr-3. 6.74 grams. Lustrous and choice grade, with full shield flanked by bold full R to left and just the top tip of A/G visible to right (not listed on NGC label), nearly full cross-and-tressure with very bold full 69 of date and most of final digit Z, trace of red toning near part of edge.
