MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 8 reales, 1732 F, NGC VF details / sea salvaged (Shipwreck Blue Label), ex-Rose. S-M26; KM-47a; Cal-1427. 25.94 grams. Decent strike with bold mintmark and assayer plus shield and cross (the latter two a bit off-center), date just enough to be identifiable though the label does not commit to the final digit of the date and just says (1730-3). Purchased directly from the original salvor, John V.G. Rose, in the 1980s. Recovered from: Vliegenthart, sunk in 1735 off Zeeland, Netherlands
