COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold cob 2 escudos, Charles II posthumous, no assayer (Arce), ex-1715 Fleet, mounted cross-side out in 18K gold pendant with emerald on fixed bail and crossed swords at top. 14.69 grams total. 2" x 1½". The coin is a reddish gold color with full cross and some legend visible, shield side with flat areas but shield and some legend visible, set in a high-karat, ornate bezel with sword handles and opaque, rectangular emerald above the coin, all competing for attention.
