DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, República Dominicana, 20 pesos, 20-4-1857, serial 1553329, very rare, PMG VF 30, finest known in PMG census. Rudman-43; Pick-unlisted. Boldly printed design with clear arms of the Dominican Republic at center along with strong penned signatures and serial number (not certain due to the handwriting), nice centering with wide margins, a few pinholes notes plus light spot of foreign substance on the back but altogether not distracting given the eye appeal of note. An incredible rarity among early Dominican Republic notes and the finest of just two listed in the PMG census.
