CUBA, Havana mint, gold proof piefort (2oz) 100 pesos, 1989, First Train in England, very rare, NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo. Aledón-255 (for regular issue); KM-P30. Virtually perfect Ultra Cameo Proof with full-mirror fields and frosty details, thick and massive as struck in 1-oz format but double thickness (0.999-fine gold), commemorating the 160th anniversary of the first railway in the world (Liverpool–Manchester, 1830). Only 10 pieces were struck, making this an important modern Cuban rarity, virtually unobtainable outside major collections.
