CHILE, Santiago, bust 4 reales, Charles IV, 1798/7 DA, extremely rare, NGC XF details / cleaned (Colección Val y Mexía Label), finest and only example in NGC census. Cal-unl (Type 101); KM-unl (60 for type). Very bold and well-detailed strike, the overdate blatant (the only example we have seen, unlisted and possibly unique), with rich rainbow toning all over, just a few small marks. Pedigreed to the Val y Mexía Collection.

Note from the collector: Extremely rare and possibly unique. Unlisted overdate. The mintage for the year 1798 was incredibly low (3,000 coins).A highly desirable rarity.
