MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 4 reales, 1658 P, with small chopmark from circulation in Asia, rare. S-M19; KM-38; Cal-1076. 13.33 grams. Roundish flan but with four sharp points, part of edge bent and straightened, very clear date outside of oM mintmark, nearly full cross with asterisk-shaped chopmark below but only top-left part of shield due to poor centering (hence the clear date) and peripheral flatness, lightly toned VF+ overall.
