Barrel-shaped flan, no better than Good for wear but with bold full denomination 8 to left inside bottom parts of 43/2 of date, full cross with unfinished fleur-tips (typical for this date), mostly toned. The only other "8 to left" example we have seen was ca. 1612, but with oMF punched over the 8 (corrected).
