Struck by the authority of the State of Louisiana sometime between its secession from the Union on January 26, 1861, and its admission to the Confederate States on March 21, 1861. Mint State with ample luster and very minor saltwater effect, subtle gray toning in the fields. Recovered from: S.S. Republic, sunk in 1865 off Georgia
