BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer not visible, quadrants of cross transposed, no Grade on certificate, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted shield-side out in twisted 14K gold pendant with dolphins embellishment and shackle bail. 34.20 grams total. Very nice, solid coin which is unquestionably Grade-1 quality even with no Grade given on the certificate, bold shield with clear denomination to right, choice full cross with lions-and-castles transposed, part of legend showing, surfaces with very light saltwater effect and rich gray silver toning, securely mounted in its decorative bezel.
