PHILIPPINES (under Spain), Manila, 8 reales, Isabel II, crowned-Y.II. countermark (Type VI, 1834-37) on a Bogotá, Colombia, 8 reales, 1835 RS, NGC XF details / rev graffiti (c/s AU weak). Restrepo-158.5; Cal-668; KM-109. Nearly full countermark shallowly impressed near top of caduceus on lightly toned host with slightly lustrous surfaces, some light old scratches in center of non-countermarked side.
