PERU, Lima, gold bust 2 escudos, Ferdinand VI, 1753 J, first bust, very rare, NGC XF details / rev scratched, ex-Almenara. Cal-642; Fr-18; KM-48. Bold strike for this rare first type, with full rims and subdued luster, normal marks for grade but with some faint scuffs on reverse, also with areas of discoloration in shield and crown. Pedigreed to the Almenara Collection (stated on label).
