PERU, Lima, gold bust 8 escudos, Ferdinand VII transitional ("imaginary" bust), 1809 JP, NGC AU details / obv cleaned, ex-Almenara. Cal-1754; Fr-44; KM-107. Highly lustrous and choice in strike (fully UNC or even MS in our opinion) with light hairlines on obverse only, curious S-shaped struck-through-fiber error at top of king's head, slightly off-center strike, scarce and desirable transitional type. Pedigreed to the Almenara Collection (stated on label).
