BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1653 E, •PH• at top, •:pomegranate:• above cross, NGC XF details / saltwater damage (Shipwreck Blue Label), ex-Zbar. S-P37a; KM-21; Cal-1503. 24.02 grams. Great full pillars-and-waves with full four-digit date in legend (both of the others visible as well), full but off-center cross with complete PHILIPPVS as a result, light surface corrosion only with patchy dark toning, scarce variety (Mastalir III-bc.y2) with fancy three-dot ornaments flanking the pomegranate above the cross. Pedigreed to the Jack Zbar Collection (stated on label). Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
