Beautiful, lustrous golden toned piece which the collector noted as "finest recorded" with boldly struck design elements throughout, a few surface hairlines and spot of minor pitting on the obverse, repunched M in assayer, desirable pedigree. Pedigreed to the Sellschopp Collection (Swiss Bank Corp. Auction of September 1988, lot 1083) and to the John O'Brien Collection, with his tag.
