BOLIVIA, gold military decoration, 1841, Ingaví, very rare. Ross & Stahl-B12a (but without enamel). 16.57 grams. 32 mm. A round decoration with laurel periphery supported by six triangular spokes leading to a small central medallion whose obverse shows radiant sun above column within legend SALVE LA PATRIA YSU GLORIA EN INGAVI•, the reverse showing legend 18 DE NOVIEMBRE above DE 1841 above mountain lands; a crimped flat jump ring connects the top to an oval wreath hanger with flat back for ribbon. Overall in good condition, the central medallion boldly detailed but polished and heavily striated on reverse.
