COLOMBIA, Bogotá, bust ½ real, Charles III, 1772 V•J, no • in mintmark, NGC F details / obv graffiti, ex-Becerra. Restrepo-unl (cf 32.1); KM-45.1; Cal-269. Deep toning, slightly off-center obverse, random scratches that look like an H or I on the bust, very scarce first date of issue and an unlisted variety lacking the dot between N and R in mintmark. Pedigreed to the Becerra Collection (stated on label).
