BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 4 reales, 1628 T/P, "hunched over" lions, very rare, ex-Ponte. S-P24; KM-unl (17a for type); Cal-unl (Type 279). 12.63 grams. Bold bottom half of 28 of date, just the right side of T/P visible (top serif over curve), the cross and shield full but largely flat, at least Fine for actual wear, with light orange sediment in crevices, first example we have seen with transposed quadrants.
