COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold cob 2 escudos, Philip IV, assayer R below denomination II to right (mid-1600s), NGC UNC details / edge filing. Restrepo-M50.25; S-B21; KM-4.1; Cal-Type 386; Fr-2. 6.75 grams. Lustrous UNC with most of shield sharply rendered, very weak assayer (not mentioned on the label), off-center yet bold cross with date showing though final digit obscured from doubling, some edge marks and scuff on bottom half of shield.
