Small, intact, Chinese blue-on-white porcelain vase, ex-Chinese junk wreck (ca. 1645), ex-Hatcher. 80 grams. 5" tall, 1-3/4" in diameter at its widest. Attractive and virtually intact except for tiny chip in base, long-necked slim vase with a floral motif covering the body, almost no wear despite its age and travels. From an unidentified ca.-1645 Chinese junk wreck, pedigreed to the Michael Hatcher Collection and Christie's (Amsterdam) auction of June 1984, with original Michael Hatcher Collection sticker.
