BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 1 real, 1693 VR, very odd shape (as made), mounted cross-side out in 14K gold bezel with fixed bail. 6.21 grams total. Nicely detailed VF piece in an unusual "drop" shape featuring full pillars, a nice (if a little off-center) cross, plus two clear dates, dark gray surfaces with light porosity, mounted in a customized pendant setting.
