^Lot 821 PERU, Lima, cob 8 reales, 1740 V, ex-Woodside.

PERU, Lima, cob 8 reales, 1740 V, ex-Woodside. S-L22; KM-34a; Cal-1317. 26.66 grams. Full pillars (including top crowns) with bold date and clear L's and V's (two of each), 7 of date in legend, full and bold cross-lions-castles with clear third date below and third L and V to left and right, VF with dark spotty toning. Curiously, both dates show the 0 punched over another 0, not the relatively common 1740/39. Pedigreed to the Rob Woodside Collection.
