Potosi, Bolivia, cob 1 real, 1726 Y, (Louis I), mounted pillars-side out in 14K gold bezel with dolphins ornament and fixed bail. 10.50 grams total. Scarce posthumous piece struck in the name of the short-lived King Louis I of Spain who reigned for just over seven months in 1724. VF with full cross and clear date between pillars, wrapped in a fascinating bezel featuring two leaping dolphins at left.
