Great Britain, copper alloy Admiral Vernon medal, 1739, Vernon and Fort Chagre / Porto Bello, ex-Adams (Plate). AC-FCv15V. 17.02 grams; 38 mm. XF+ or better in lighter color with traces of luster on reverse fields but high points weak (not struck up), raised rims as described in AC. XRF: 48.12% copper, 47.86% zinc, 2.72% lead. Pedigreed to the John Adams Collection (with his handwritten tag), plated on page 155 of Medallic Portraits of Admiral Vernon (2010), by Adams and Chao.
