Caracas, Venezuela, 2 reales, "1818" date (1R-sized digits, struck 1830) BS, florettes flanking cross with transposed quadrants, struck over a Spanish bust 2 reales of Charles IV, NGC VF 30. Cal-740; KM-C36; Stohr-15. (Weight not indicated.) Bold central details with attractive light toning all over, much of the under-coin still visible in peripheries including full king's ordinal IIII. This one-year type was struck in 1830 (or later) using the previous "morillero" design but with florettes instead of F-7 flanking the cross.
