Super-sharp full shield and cross, the latter lustrous but the former with evidence of die-rust, bold S-II-D to left and bottom part of date to right with penultimate digit 8 deceivingly flat on the bottom followed by fairly clear tail of a 9, exceptional grade shared by no other dated examples.
