Great Britain, cast silver Admiral Vernon medal, 1741, Vernon / Cartagena, rare, ex-Adams. AC-CAv2B. 14.15 grams; 38 mm. AXF with lovely toning, probably polished long ago, the flan somewhat convex, with minor rim-bruise and tiny nicks, fairly high-grade silver. XRF: 94.15% silver. Pedigreed to the John Adams Collection (with his handwritten tag).
