UNC or close to it, with much original luster and brassy color resulting from slightly higher tin content. XRF: 40.11% copper, 51.88% zinc, 6.10% lead, 1.25% tin. Pedigreed to the John Adams Collection (with his handwritten tag), plated on page 78 of Medallic Portraits of Admiral Vernon (2010), by Adams and Chao.
